Jankees van Woezik

Code cracking, mathematics loving developer.

I am Jankees van Woezik, something that you probably already guessed from the url of this website. I am an experienced programmer with a love for writing clean, useful, tested and reusable software. This is my personal website.

I have been working as a freelance developer since 2008 but have been making websites since ‘98. I was 14 at the time that I made my first website and it includes #ff0000 as a background colour (fun fact: it’s still online). This last decade I had the luck to work on great projects for; V&A, NRC, Anne Frank huis, Dom Perignon, KPN & Blond Amsterdam. I’ve also been hired by companies as a part of their team to work on projects for; Ultimaker, Achtung!, Zilverline, Your Majesty and Random Studio. The full list of projects I’ve worked on is stated below, I must warn you it is long but so are ten years.

Next to my freelancing, I also created several products, including two Mac applications and a few web applications. One of the most biggest ones is Stekker, a smart charging tool launched in 2019. And since March 2025, I’ve been working on WBSO.ai, where we’re building AI-driven tools to make innovation subsidies more accessible for entrepreneurs.

Back to the reason why you are probably scrolling through this website right now; my line of work. I am a full stack developer. Currently, I mostly do back-end work with Ruby. However I’ve been working on both back-end as well as front-end development jobs over the last decade.

If you want to talk to me please send me an email or a tweet

That long list I warned you about:
